Light Jets

Depending on how far you are looking to travel, you will need to charter a jet which suits your specifications. For short trips of around 1500 miles, you should look at small cabin/light jets. These typically hold up to 7 people with luggage allocations. If you are looking to charter a private jet from Caracas to Fort Lauderdale, or jet from Caracas to Chicago, then a light jet may be your best option. Some of the Light jets available for Caracas charter are the Hawker 400XP, Citation CJ3, and Citation Ultra.

Mid-size Jets

For longer flights, a midsize cabin is required. These jets in Caracas are more comfortable than a small jet and can fly between many U.S states nonstop, with a passenger capacity of 8. Midsizes, like the Hawker 800XP, Citation Excel, or Learjet 60, are great for a fair distance and comfortable on jet charters that are 2 hours or more – such as, Caracas to Denver or Houston to Caracas.

Super-midsize Jets

For longer domestic trips or intercontinental air charter, such as Caracas to Los Angeles, or even Seattle to Caracas. we suggest super midsize jet, such as the Challenger 300 or Hawker 1000. These are designed for longer domestic flights and even light transatlantic travel, with a typical passenger capacity of 9 people.

Large Jets

Lastly, if you are looking to a private jet charter from Caracas to Shanghai, or other International destinations, then a Heavy cabin jet or Ultra Long Range is required. These heavy cabin and ultra-long range jets are the pinnacle of luxury in private travel. With a passenger capacity of 16, these heavy jets can get you from one place to another in style, perfect for transoceanic travel.

If you are a traveling in a large group for business, then it is advised that you look towards the large cabin or heavy cabin jets. Some examples of Heavy and Ultra Long Range charter jets are the Falcon 2000, Gulfstream G550, Falcon 7x, and Challenger 604/605.

About Caracas

Caracas is the largest city in Venezuela and the county’s capital. The town is tucked in the valley between El Avila towers above the city and the Venezuelan coastal mountain range. Only 40 minutes to the north is the Caribbean Sea and a stretch of beaches.

Caracas was founded in 1567 but grew most significantly during the oil boom in the 20th century. The city today is bustling with activity but still holds a proud grip on its historical past.

  • In the heart of the city is Plaza Bolivar, named for the military and political leader Simon Bolivar, who was born in Caracas. It marks the spot where the city was founded and is now the cultural hub of the city.
  • El Avila National Park is located just twenty minutes north of the city. The national park’s forest holds butterflies, wildflowers, and birds. Ride the teleferico (funicular) to the top of Cerro El Avila for views of the city, mountains, and on clear days the Caribbean Sea. The park has zip-lining and rock climbing for the adventurous. The park’s original trails were used by Spanish colonizers, pirates, and merchants traveling from the sea to the city.
  • Once a church, the National Pantheon of Venezuela is now where many of the most famous Venezuelans rest in peace. The changing of the guards takes place several times daily.
  • Museo de Bellas Artes is in the city’s fine arts museum. It has one of the best modern art collections on the continent and many works by Picasso.
  • Located on Plaza Bolivar is the 17th-century church, Caracas Cathedral. This religious structure has undergone many renovations after earthquakes, but most of the 1674 structure remains.
  • Simon Bolivar’s birthplace is honored in a museum at Museo Boliva, a 17th century home built by his grandfather.

Venezuela does not observe daylight savings time. The city’s time zone is GMT-4.
